Well, that's where the story goes a little south. Within 15 minutes, Teagan was placed on the mat in "timeout" because she kept running off from the group. She didn't want to follow direction or go through the opstitcle (sp) course and was being quite bad. I was mortified. She is usually better at gymnastics and has always been better than average with the skills. After about 10 more minutes, Kelly had me come into the gym and sit thinking it would help and it did to an extent, but Teagan did NOT want to listen.
I'm hoping this is just a phase and that it is not going to last more than another class. I really don't want to have the "bad" kid in class. And I'm hoping it's not a sign of things to come in school and maybe it'll actually help having her work this out now rather than in preschool before she's labeled for life!
We have our hands full, don't we?
