snow, snow, snow

It seems like we haven't had a full week of school since before Christmas. I LOVE having my kids with me, but we're going crazy at home. It is such a hassle to get everyone ready for going out in the cold though so I actually prefer being home. 

Here's how we've been passing the days.

 Lots of funny faces and pictures. The kids love to see themselves in the camera.

Teagan likes to put on shows for us and get into character with her clothes. This day we had a luau with a hula dancer.

And of course, we watch for more snow. Teagan asks most days if she's ever going back to school...in a very dramatic voice of course. Lol

Emmersyn goes to the gym

Emmersyn started gymnastics last week. She's half money so it's not a surprise to be how well she did. The class is a parent tot class so I'm in there with her. There were 3 girls in the class and they were all timid and hanging on their mom's. Emmy was all over. She was trying to escape my grip so she could take off across the gym. I actually think she'll be a great little gymnast if she can rein in her attention.

5k or not

At the end of last year, my group of friends all ran a 5 miler. They all signed up for a 5k and talked me into signing up. The 5k is approaching fast. It's in less than 3 weeks and I'm nowhere close to where I thought I'd be. I'm now thinking of not enrolling after all. The competitive athlete I use to be its telling me I don't want to do it and not finish with the front. My ego is telling me that I don't want people laughing at me for being last. And my heart is thinking that the few people who I told about the 5k are thinking I knew she'd back out. I have no idea what I want to do.
