First tooth times 2
Brennen has been a fussy boy lately and drooling like a wet dog so I knew a tooth would be popping through soon! Sunday evening that tooth FINALLY popped through and it brought a friend! That's right, my little guy has TWO bottom teeth poking up. Poor guy! No wonder he was a fuss bucket. My sweet boy is back now though and will be enjoying a bit more solid food now!

Out of whack
Lately I've been out of touch with a lot of my regular friends. I feel like I've been working nonstop (6 days every week for over a month), being sick, and been so busy with my kids, the house, and with my moms house while she was in Ft Wayne for a month with my grandma. I'm trying to find a balance, but I just seem to make people upset when I can't go places. I would LOVE to go out and have some fun, but trying to fit everything in is overwhelming sometimes!
Saturday after work, we went out to dinner (all 5 Murray's) and to get new carseats for Brennen. We did get a few other things as well, so while I tried to install carseat #3 in both cars, Teagan blew bubbles out in the driveway. I'm thinking we will be a van family soon as the seats BARELY fit in my car. I feel like the doors will pop off soon! HA.
Sunday after work, I headed to my moms with the girls. Matt and Brennen stayed home to watch some football. I let the girls play with mom while I weedwhacked, trimmed up the front bushes, and did some other outside chores. I needed to get the back yard done as well, but it was almost bed time and I must have made all the bugs mad because I got eaten alive! I also managed to spill a 5 gallon bucket of water all over her house so any good I did was negated with that I'm sure!
Brennen got sick over night so I woke up to a pile of laundry to do and no water pressure to wash them. Darn water main broke so I'm not sure how long I'll be without, but I'm taking a load to my moms to get the crib sheets and blankets all washed before I get Teagan from school....just a day in my life anymore!

First "pick me up" call
Today is a big day! Brennen was scheduled to get his stitches out at 10:30 this morning. When I got the kids up for school, I could only see one stitch just dangling there like I could have been able to pluck it out with tweezers (which I didn't do).
Anyways, I dropped Teagan off at school at 8 like normal. She was slightly more whiney this morning, but I chalked it up to me having to wake her up. Usually, if she's up on her own she is fine, but if I have to go in and wake her she likes to say "5 more minutes" or "it's still night time" as she rolls back over. HA. Totally my kid there with hating mornings.
Anyways, I no sooner got back home, unloaded babies, fed them, and put them in their beds for a morning nap and school calls to come back and get her. Seems she had a belly ache and was crying. She had a very loose bowel movement and is not one that does that anywhere but at home with us so I'm thinking she was just embarrassed because as soon as I picked her up, she asked if we could go to the park and play. Instead, we all went to the doctor who spent about 1.3 SECONDS with Brennen and just rubbed the stitch away. Really???? I am paying for that??? Next time I'll know to do it myself! HA
I really think it's funny that school called today. Yes, I am very happy they did. I would rather be safe than sorry about any of my kids, but last year she fell from over 4 feet and bit through her lip and I didn't get called and she would have needed stitches! Oh well, again, I would rather be safe!

Brennen gets stitched
Sure enough, he got FIVE stitches. Can't believe my sweet 9 month old is already getting big enough for stitches. And...he beat Emmersyn who was 10 months when she got her first set of stitches.
Before the stitches. Even busted up, he was a happy boy! Poor boy is just a walking ad for Band-Aid.
And after. He did SO good. The doctor and nurses were shocked he was so good and made several comments about how good he was. They got him wrapped up tight in a blanket and got 3 of the stitches in before he cried. Then, he cried for a few minutes because the bright light was making him hot and as soon as they moved it, he stopped. So nice to have a happy baby!
I'm hoping this isn't a sign of times to come with 3 kids. I feel like the hospital needs to give me a frequent visitor card I'm there so much!
Goodbye Grandma Rosie
Last Friday (9/6/13), my grandma passed away. She hadn't been sick, and as a matter of fact, we were up there for a visit a month ago and she was playing with and holding my kids. It makes me sad to think that another family member is no longer here and my kids will be without an extended family, but I know she'll always been watching us from Heaven.
Just some fun facts:
Teagan was born so early and spent a few weeks in the NICU and I spent the entire time up there with her and stayed at my Grandma's house.
When Teagan was healthy enough to come home, she spent her very first night at my Grandma's house as well before making the trip home.
My Grandma made the best french toast and peach cobbler and had no problem spoiling me (and later my kids) when we visited.
The last time I went for a visit, she was so excited to see Brennen and kept saying how happy my kids were.
When she use to visit us when I was small, she would sleep in my bed with me and we would "tell secrets" and make my mom jealous. :)
These things make me happy to remember. I made a point to always go up and visit once she got too "old" to drive down here. (She didn't like to sit too long in the car). And we would go up at least twice a year.
