So, it's been 2 weeks since I've posted anything and honestly, not a lot has been going on. We are in full planning mode right now. We have Teagan's birthday/party to plan, Easter is a few weeks later, Brennen's baptism, and we also have church pictures scheduled for next week. Luckily, with all those things going on, I will get several uses out of the matching clothes I buy the kids! HA!
I have adjusted to working again, although I am already ready for a vacation that doesn't require staples. The last 'vacation' we took was to Disney in October 2011 and I was 30 weeks preggo...not too relaxing! Honestly, I just like planning a vacation because it gives me something to fantasize about during work and gets me through the hard times away from my kids!
This past weekend Matt and I went to a dinner club party. It was fun to get out of the house and have adult conversation, although we did end up talking about our kids more than we probably wanted. The guys played indoor golf and the girls just sat around and talked. We are making an effort to get out kid free more and so far have been successful at it.
Last Thursday my mom had a heart cath done. They didn't find anything to stent or repair so that was great! They were hoping to run the cath through her wrist, but after 2 attempts they ended up going through her groin. She is in a lot of pain/discomfort and is incredibly tired, but doing alright. She isn't use to being the patient. I have been spending as much time over at her house as I can and have taken her dinner everyday since. I'm worn out, but it's worth it. She would do the same for me. She quit breathing for 2 minutes on the table and her Oxygen level dropped to 60 so it did scare me. She lives alone and if something happens no one would know...what a bad thought!
ANyways, that's all that has been going on at our house. Nothing exciting, but yet Matt and I are both EXHAUSTED! I'm ready for some actual sleep soon and not just a few naps at night between feedings!

Zombie Run
I got a text from Matt yesterday while I was working about the Zombie Run. It is a 5k run in Louisville. He wanted to be a zombie this year, but I thought we should try to run it. It is basically a run where zombies chase you so my thought was, hey, that may make me run faster than just a normal 5k. Plus, Matt and I have been wanting to change some things around here and get back into a non-circular shape so I told him it would be a good incentive plan. He is a little scared we won't have enough time to train with the kids, but I think we'll be ok. The run isn't until the end of April so that gives us a little better than 10 weeks. Wish us luck!
New tooth
Emmy now has a new tooth on the bottom! YAY! That makes 3 on bottom and 4 up top with a ton more coming! While I like getting all of them out at once, it sure is torture on little people. She's been a drooling fool lately. Thankfully, she is still pleasant and easy going!
Stomach bug from Hell
Not much has been happening around here lately. I'm trying to get back into the routine of being a working momma with 3 kiddos. It is rough some days to feel like I'm dividing my attention the right way, but my kids are happy and are thriving so I guess that means we're doing an alright job!
Last week, Emmersyn woke up with the stomach bug. Thankfully, I was at work, but Matt said she had throw up all over her crib and then the nasty diarrhea started. YUCK-O! She wasn't her normal eating self, but she did manage to eat some food and drink.
Sat night/Sun morning, Teagan woke me up at 2 am and said her belly hurt. Well, she then proceeds to throw up all down the hall and into my bathroom.
I'm hoping this passes soon. My poor Brennen started last night with the runny mess in his diaper too. I'm hoping to keep them all hydrated and out of the the ER.

Progress Report
Teagan got her very first school report yesterday. I was very excited to actually see what she knew as she doesn't really show/tell us all that she does at school. I know she knows a lot more than she lets on.
The report was 3 pages long. It is divided into 3 categories: physical development, skill development, and social/emotional development. There are 4 "grading" numbers they use 1-4. 1:area of concern, 2:needs development, 3:age appropriate, and 4:exceeds expectations. About 98% of Teagan's were 3 and 4's. I was very impressed. It is SO funny that at home she gets in the most trouble for being mean to Emmersyn, but at school she scored mostly 4's in the emotional development and caring for others section. HA
She does need to work on a few "skill" development areas. She got four 2's in that category, but some of it I didn't know she needed to know to work on, such as her street address and phone number. Another big area of work this month for us at home will be numbers.
Overall, I am very happy with her report. I know there will always be things my kids excel in and there will also be areas they struggle with. I think that is human nature and I'm trying not to stress about it. She is 3 and has TONS of school ahead so I just want her to have fun and be age appropriate at this point. I also like that it shows me where to focus my time at home, too. Not to sound like a bad mom, but I don't want to waste my time teaching her something she already knows! HA.

Back at it
Well, I went back to work this week. To say it has been a little bit of an adjustment is an understatement. My work schedule has changed. Instead of working 5 days and only short days during the week after Matt gets home, I have switched to 4 LONG days. I'm working Sat and Sun (Matt will have the kids til 3 when I get off) and then Wed and Thursday from 8am-7pm. My inlaws have agreed to watch the kids from 7:45-1 when Matt gets home. Not too bad of a deal. Matt won't have too much time alone with all 3 since the babies nap around 2 and that also gives me more hours AND time off during the week.
I'm not a fan of being a working mom, but we don't have the luxury of me not working. I AM looking forward to a real paycheck again. My bank account suffered horribly in 2012 with me off work for 20weeks of the year!
